Have a Presentation That Needs an Upgrade? Try Prezi!

If we are honest with ourselves, PowerPoint is not a great program. Although it is the standard medium for presentations and public speaking engagements, it leaves a lot to be desired. Text that moves like an airplane is awesome at age 10, but less so at age 40.

If you have a job in sales, human resources, marketing, or are a student and you truly want to impress at your next big meeting, try using Prezi instead of PowerPoint.

Prezi is a free cloud-based program that allows users to create custom presentations. Instead of being limited to simple linear movements, you can presentations that are interactive, move, zoom, and do mostly anything you want. Instead of being limited to slides, Prezi uses a large map-like canvas, that truly brings your presentations to life.

While it’s hard to visualize at first, I recommend spending two minutes looking through a Prezi that the company made, and seeing if it doesn’t make you rethink your next presentation.

Advice: Dinner Tonight - Quick Easy and Healthy

As previously mentioned, I’m a college student. While the perks of being a student are numerous, free t-shirts, being young, pretty girls, days that start after 1pm, not to mention that whole education thing, many of us are lacking in funds.

While cheap foods are aplenty (Ramen and Totino’s Pizza come to mind), these aren’t the best things to put in your body.

So if you're in the mood to eat healthy, have a limited budget (or just enjoy saving money), I've discovered a go-to dinner that I like to share with everyone that will listen.

The meal is healthy (approx 550 total calories, 70g carbs, 5g fiber, 38g protein) fast (about 15 minutes) and cheap (under $3)!

What you need

  • 1 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
  • ¾ Cup Brown Minute Rice
  • 2 Cups Frozen Stir-Fry Vegetables
  • Random seasonings or marinade, and non-stick cooking spray
  • 1 George Foreman Grill and small frying pan

Steps

  1. Add rice and ¾ cup of water into microwave safe bowl and microwave for 5 ½ minutes
  2. Season chicken breast, spray grill with non-stick spray, place breast on grill and cook
  3. Spray small frying pan with non-stick spray, put in vegetables, stir vigorously
  4. Take rice out of microwave, fluff with fork
  5. Turn off burner, let vegetables settle
  6. Take chicken breast off grill (7-8 minute cook time), cut into thickest part to ensure it is cooked through and safe to eat
  7. Place rice, vegetables, and chicken on plate, enjoy and watch Jeopardy!

Bill's Khaki's Review

Product - Bill's Khaki's Plain Front M2 - Wheat

I was in the market for a new pair of khaki pants that I could wear to work, football games, church, and class. I needed something that would fit in all situations (other than out in the wild) and after doing a little research, I thought Bill's Khaki's were my best bet.

They came in the mail today and I’m very pleased. They fit great, the color (wheat) is terrific, and the craftsmanship is excellent.

I wish I could tell you more on how they perform, but the pants actually come unfinished and need to be hemmed, and I haven’t had the chance to go to the tailor. Overall, I think this is a great touch, and it’s nice to know that these pants will fit perfectly. However, I wish I could have sent them my measurements, just so I didn’t have to run out, and have them fitted.

If you’re looking for a pair of versatile, American-made, khaki pants, look no further than Bill’s, they will not disappoint.
